Be The Bridge Foundation: Every purchase funds a specific outcome. No black holes.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds mental health treatments insurance won’t cover, including ketamine and psychedelic-assisted therapy for PTSD, depression, and anxiety. We are for everyone, including G.I. Joes and Average Joes alike, including those who don’t see themselves reflected in traditional mental health spaces and those who need additional healing beyond conventional therapy. Discover how you can be the Bridge to Healing for someone trying to conquer the Battle Within.

We Don't Hide the Receipts

Mental Joe doesn’t believe in black holes. We are 100% transparent about everything we do. It starts with T-shirts designed to start conversations around mental health and individual healing. Every purchase sends $5 to the foundation, which helps provide access to alternative treatments for those in need.

Many of these treatments are not covered by insurance and are still being explored for their mental health benefits. Many veterans, first responders, and people suffering from long-term trauma and depression aren’t aware of these options and do not know how to access them. That’s where your financial support can make a world of difference.

Who We Help

The Hopeless Cases

veterans

Some veterans have PTSD that is resistant to traditional therapy. These brave men and women are often told they have no options, leaving them to struggle in silence long after they leave the battlefield. Alternative therapies involving ketamine or psychedelics can help some veterans process memories that may otherwise be too painful to relive.

The Silent Warriors

First responders and Average Joes

First responders and Average Joes carrying anxiety, rage, and burnout often suffer in silence when they know they have a job to do. The work must go on, but their suffering doesn’t have to. Alternative healing options can help them process the pain they’ve experienced along the way.

The Families

SPOUSES, PARTNERS & CAREGIVERS

PTSD, depression, and anxiety don’t happen in a vacuum. When someone is touched by trauma, these issues can affect their loved ones, including their spouses and children. We know from experience that trauma is a household issue. Our families can benefit from alternative treatments as they process the pain, burnout, and anxiety they’ve had to endure as caretakers and beneficiaries.

Hear From the People You’ve Helped

I'm still kind of processing my journey, but I can say that it was amazing and eye opening! I can see myself getting breakthroughs, I can't thank you enough.

"The Mexico retreat changed my life. For the first time in 20 years, I felt something other than numb. I came home a different man — and my family noticed."

The ketamine treatment truly changed my life. It made me a better man, a better husband, a better father, a better firefighter, and a better friend. Since my treatment, I’ve been able to help other firefighters and friends begin the same journey." - Josh M.

Because Chad with Mental Joe/Be The Bridge Foundation supported both of us, we were able to start healing individually but it ultimately helped heal us together. We healed our marriage. And we healed our family." - Cody

The Mental Joe Impact

350+

veterans, first responders, and spouses connected to care

Our organization has helped over 350 veterans, first responders, and spouses connect to care. We don’t provide one-off funding to people seeking alternative treatments. We provide community, empathy, and connection in the aftermath of trauma and help direct Average Joes and G.I. Joes alike to clinics that offer alternative mental health treatments. We connect with them as human beings and follow up with them after treatment to learn about their experience… because healing takes a village.
